Welcome, wearied traveller, to Shroomstack.

This space will have little to do with the hallucinogenic connotations in the title, save perhaps tangentially. Following a chance discovery of a pocket-size encyclopaedia of Mushrooms, the writers of this Substack were inspired to take as their main heroes Fungi of all kind.

Please enjoy our little Mushroom Imaginarium and the weird and wonderful pageant of fungal characters.

We'll marvel at the Spectacular Gymnophile, get cosy with a Wood Woolly-foot and be seduced by the downright saucy little Stinkhorn.
